University of Brighton Academies Trust is looking for a Sport Coach in Shoreham


We are seeking an enthusiastic sports coach to join our dedicated and supportive team.

We are looking for a sports coach who can motivate, engage and be a positive role model to our children. You will have:

  • A NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Sports Coaching
  • A good understanding of the characteristics and qualities of high quality PE lessons
  • The ability to effectively deliver high quality PE lessons to pupils of all ages and abilities including those with physical disabilities

This is an important role for our academy as we constantly strive to improve and excel in all that we do. To succeed in this role, you will need to:

  • Be responsible for running a variety of sports-based clubs, four days per week across the primary age group.
  • To prepare and implement well-structured and progressive sports coaching programmes ensuring a high quality, enjoyable coaching experience centred on the needs of pupils
  • Be a positive role model, creating a positive and fun environment in which to motivate and encourage children to participate in sport and physical activity.

Holmbush Primary Academy is a school for 4 to 11-year olds in Shoreham by Sea, West Sussex. We’re a small and nurturing school, with one class in each year group. We have high expectations and engage our pupils with our creative and inspiring curriculum. Staff and pupils benefit from classrooms with direct access to outdoor space. We also host Little Learners, a nursery for 3- and 4-year olds.
